MORPHOLOGICAL DESCRIPTION
Tall aromatic evergreen herbaceous plant belonging to the Poaceae family, which has derived from the wild ‘managrass’ found in Sri Lanka. Its stems are erect and hollow, reaching 1,5 metres in height and develop underground stems called rhizomes.
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS (ORGANOLEPTIC):
- Colour and appearance: from pale yellow to yellow amber.
- Scent: lemon, rosy.
CHEMICAL FAMILY OF THE AROMATIC MOLECULES: citronellal.
Belongs to the group of Monoterpenic Aldehydes.
CULINARY ACTIVITY:
Due to its citric flavour, it is used for neutralising excessively spicy flavours that are typical of the Asian cuisine.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Take it always diluted, 1-2 drops in 250 g of nourishment (juice, tea, salads…). Maximum 3 a day.
